Gustos Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roaster, established in May 1999 by husband and wife team Daniel Omar Torres and Grisel Leon, now president and vice president of the family owned company.

Before creating our company, we each had many years of experience in the restaurant business, but at the time all we knew about coffee was how to serve and drink it. We then discovered there were no coffee vending machines that served the strong, rich, and flavorful coffee preferred by people in Puerto Rico, and we set out to fill that void.

Our passion for coffee grew as we discovered the coffee industry. Witnessing how a great cup of coffee can bring people together awoke our desire to provide the most amazing coffee, and we decided to roast our own.

Since then, our dream has come true! Our company makes artisan roasts for the finest restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, cafeterias, bakeries, and gourmet retail outlets. We produce our own brands: Gustos Premium, Casa Grande, and Aromas de Jaicoa. They are made with 100% Arabica beans to satisfy different flavor profiles, ranging from a rich espresso to a high quality blend. We guarantee every coffee we roast.

Today, Gustos Coffee Co. has more than 2,000 clients island-wide, both wholesale and retail, and aspires to be recognized around the world as leader among Puerto Rican coffee producers.
