Our story
In the spring of 1999
Gustos Coffee Co. was foundedby Daniel Omar Torres and Grisel León.
A mutual admiration for coffee, driven by their new found love fueled their passion for the industry. The challenges they faced along the way were surpassed by their natural resilience, which gave way to the elaboration of the finest puerto rican specialty coffee.
Fully ripened cherries sourced from specially selected farms are handpicked, wet-milled and dried at low temperatures. This preserves their unique, organic character producing a consistent flavor and aromatic experience. A rigorous selection process, in accordance with the Specialty Coffee Association, ensures every seed we harvest meets the highest level of standard.
